- Newly renovated Downstairs unit with open floor plan makes this the perfect retreat for 1 or 2. Private 1st floor entrance, not upstairs. Note: Unit upstairs is a separate unit. - The living space has a sofa with chaise and accent chair for comfortable lounging. WIFI throughout entire unit with smart TV. YouTube TV provided. - The kitchen is stocked with essentials for cooking and a full sized refrigerator. Bistro table available for quick dinners or work from home vibes! - Bedroom includes : 1 Queen Bed + Full Size Mirror + Blackout Curtains - The back porch is an extension of the home with an outdoor living and dining area. Enjoy a sizeable backyard for pups and play. Note : It is not completely fenced in. - Outdoor shower (with hot water) to rinse the salt off after a day at the beach! - Pet friendly for friendly pets! Please message us for pet approval PRIOR to booking. Non-refundable pet fee of $150 applies. Pets MUST be added to your reservation during the booking process to incorporate the pet fee into the total price. Limit is 2 dogs; no other animals permitted. Please review the house rules for our full pet policy.
Other Details to Note
We are located next door to The Spot, a local restaurant. Great place to grab a drink, watch a game, or grab a meal. During their business hours they do play music and they have outdoor seating which creates noise. While we don’t find this disruptive during the day we have provided a sound machine in the unit for easy sleeping.

The Sun Shack is located next door to local favorites, The Spot + Uncle Vinny's. We are only 3 blocks from The Veggie Wagon where you can pick up fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, craft beer, or make your own ice cream sand which. Also nearby (walking distance) is the Carolina Beach Lake Park where there is a quiet walking path, seasonal events including movie night and farmer's market, and pedal boats available for rent. We are close to the boardwalk as well where you can find additional restaurants, bars, activities, and the famous Britt's Donuts!
Guest Access
This is a shared property. This house is a duplex and the downstairs, ground level, unit is separately rented. Each space has its own private entrance and the spaces are not connected on the interior at all- there is no interior stairwell. There is separate assigned parking. The yard and outdoor shower is shared common space.

Location
Once you are here you can walk to the beach and food so no need to get back into your car! However, if you want to venture down to Fort Fisher or the Wilmington Aquarium it's only a 10 minute drive. Downtown Wilmington: 30 Minutes Wilmington Airport: 30 min
